Vauxhall to construct electric vans at Luton plant from 2025



Vauxhall proprietor Stellantis has declared it is to start making electric vehicles at its plant in Luton.

The plans are supposed to get the drawn out fate of the plant and 1,500 positions, following worries last year about Brexit formality.

The organization said it would begin creation of its medium-sized Vivaro Electric van before summer 2025.

Electric models from other Stellantis brands, including Citroën, Peugeot and Fiat, will likewise be worked there.

It follows the beginning of electric vehicle creation at the company's Ellesmere Port plant in Cheshire last year, where the Vauxhall Combo Electric is being fabricated.
