Hosted by the district council, the free event will take place on Friday morning at Parkside in Horsham.
Attendees will have the opportunity to discover a diverse selection of EVs and even test drive them firsthand. The event aims to cater to everyone interested in transitioning to EVs and adopting more sustainable motoring practices to help reduce carbon emissions on local roads.
The event will feature experts who will deliver presentations and address inquiries on various aspects of electric motoring, including environmental performance, operational costs, and charging infrastructures.
Councillor Colette Blackburn, cabinet member for climate action and nature recovery, emphasized the importance of the event, stating, "Climate change poses a significant threat to our planet, our nation, and our district. This event aims to inform individuals about the transition to zero-emissions motoring."
